Some days, chapters, and seasons of life are shadowed by anxiety, depression, grief and despair. We all need a little help, at times, to be reminded of our inner strength and resiliency. You are not alone in your journey. Whether you are seeking peace, healing,
guidance, support, or simply a listening ear… the decision to nurture your mental health is one of the most important you will ever make.
Ms. Grafton’s experience in both school and foster care settings introduced her to the complexities of supporting others through a trauma-informed lens, and it was through these experiences that she discovered a passion for working with individuals with
trauma histories. Additionally, Tonya’s personal journey with chronic illness has led her to develop a special interest in working with clients who are experiencing the grief of a diagnosis, divorce, death, or other major life transition.
Ms. Grafton is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a Certified Grief-Informed Specialist. She incorporates a variety of treatment modalities throughout the therapeutic process and utilizes an approach that is evidence-based, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. Her goal is to support and empower children, teens, and adults as they move through the anxiety, grief, depression, and uncertainty that often accompany our daily lives.
In her spare time, Ms. Grafton can be found spending time with her husband and two adult daughters, reading the latest psychological thriller, or grimacing her way through a Pilates class.
